Ellen Ross graduated from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York
in 1979 with both a B.A. and M.A. in history/political science, and went
on to Albany Law School of Union University, graduating with a J.D. in
1982. She was admitted to practice before the courts of the state of New
York in January 1983 and the U.S. Courts for the Northern District of
New York in February 1983. In 2001 she was also admitted to practice
before the U.S. Courts for the Western District of Michigan, and in
September 2007 she was admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts for
the Northern District of Texas.
She has been married since 1988, and has lived in Johnstown, NY since 1989. In addition to her husband, she currently shares her home with three cats and two dachshunds.
